From the records I located in RootsIreland.ie website, I found out where in County Monaghan the family was living before coming to Canada.
Townland: Corringshigo
Civil Parish: Currin
Co. Monaghan
To locate where these were I went to two great websites for maps in Ireland.
From Irish Ancestors website we can see that in County Monaghan, Currin parish is number 6 and is located in west of the county.
From the Townlands website we can also see where the civil parish of Currin is located.

From the Townlands website we can see where Corrinshigo townland is within the parish. It is located in the NW corner of the parish.
From the GeoHive website, this map lists the Townlands around it and what the land looks like.
As the townland is close to County Cavan this map shows parts of both counties.
